Home-Office

The Home Office is the party that acts as a sponsor to cover any losses incurred by a subsidiary parties.

If the collateral pledged by the party that is subordinated to the Home-Office is insufficient to cover the losses, the missing funds will be drawn
from the Home-Office's collateral to meet the losses. If the additional Home-Office funds are insufficient, default is observed.

Setting Up the Home-Office Subsidiary relationship

To define a Home-Office, ensure the field Guarantor / Underwriter is disabled ( From a DataSource perspective, the Guarantor/Underwriter field must be empty or blank or smaller or equal to 0).

You then define the subsidiary parties by selecting the Home-Office as the subsidiary's Guarantor /Underwriter.

Note: You can define multiple Guarantor / Underwriter levels.
